Complete guide to creating and configuring your Notifer account.

New to Notifer? This guide walks you through account creation step-by-step.

Creating Your Account

Registration Process

  1. Visit Registration Page
  2. Go to app.notifer.io/register

  3. Enter Your Details

  4. Email address - Used for login and account notifications
  5. Password - Must be at least 8 characters
  6. Confirm password - Re-enter your password

  7. Accept Terms

  8. Read and accept Terms of Service
  9. Read and accept Privacy Policy

  10. Click "Sign Up"

Email Verification

After registration:

  1. Check your email inbox for verification message
  2. Click the verification link (valid for 24 hours)
  3. You'll be redirected to the login page
  4. Log in with your credentials

Didn't receive email?

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes (delivery can take up to 5 minutes)
  • Request a new verification email from the login page

Alternative: Sign Up with Google

Quick registration using your Google account:

  1. Click "Continue with Google" on the registration page
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Grant Notifer access to your basic profile information
  4. Your account is created automatically (no email verification needed)

First Login

After verifying your email:

  1. Go to app.notifer.io/login
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click "Sign In"

You'll be redirected to the dashboard.

Initial Setup

1. Complete Your Profile

Navigate to Settings → Profile:

  • Display Name (optional) - How you appear in the app
  • Avatar (optional) - Upload a profile picture
  • Language - Choose your preferred language (EN/PL)

2. Configure Notifications

Navigate to Settings → Notifications:

  • Desktop Notifications - Enable browser notifications
  • Email Notifications - Configure email alerts
  • Notification Sound - Choose notification sound

Can't Sign Up

Problem: Registration form shows error

Solutions: - Ensure email format is correct - Password must be at least 8 characters - Check that passwords match - Try a different email address (might already be registered)

Google Sign-In Issues

Problem: Google authentication fails

Solutions: - Clear browser cookies and cache - Try incognito/private browsing mode - Ensure pop-ups are not blocked - Try a different browser

Security Best Practices

Do:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Enable two-factor authentication (coming soon)
  • Keep your email address updated
  • Log out from shared/public computers

Don't:

  • Share your password with others
  • Use the same password across multiple services
  • Click suspicious links in emails claiming to be from Notifer

Q: Is my email address visible to others?
A: No, your email is private and never shared with other users.

Q: Can I change my email address later?
A: Yes, in Settings → Profile. You'll need to verify the new email.

Q: Can I delete my account?
A: Yes, in Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent.
